HI, I’M ALLIE
My name is Allie, and I would love to be your photographer. I am a Nashville native, and I currently live in Madison with my husband Jacob and our personality-packed Mini Australian Shepard, Franklin.
I picked up my first camera when I was 12 years old, and I couldn’t get enough of it. I would conduct a photoshoot with anyone I could convince to be my subject, whether it was my friends, my brother, or even the family dog. Photography remained a hobby all through high school and college, but after I graduated with a degree in Psychology, I realized that photographing people and watching confidence come to life from behind a camera was my passion. When I’m not working, you’ll find me watching The Office, knitting, gardening, taking care of my house plants, dancing, or taking on house projects. While I’m editing your session, I usually have the help of a true crime podcast and a hot cup of coffee (or matcha if it is over 90 degrees in Nashville).

I started pursuing photography professionally in 2017. While prior to 17 I was always taking photos for friends, families, and any other project I could get my hands on, I decided to transition my business from being a hobbyist to a professional. I took all of the opportunities that I could find to grow my skills and practice so that I could provide great experiences to my clients. I worked as an assistant to a studio portrait photographer, a second shooter to a large scale wedding photographer, and a newborn photographer at 3 major hospitals in the Nashville area before deciding what I wanted my specialty to be. In every project that I take on, I desire to make my subjects feel seen, known, and heard so that they can feel their best in front of the camera. My main focus when working with subjects is to make them feel confident in front of the camera and to look good while they’re doing it.
Professionally
As a photographer I specialize in portraiture, weddings, and brand centered content.
My portrait photoshoots are confidence boosting, experiential, engaging, and creative. I am always excited to take on new projects within the world of portraiture.
My wedding photography consists of laying groundwork of getting to know each other so that I can be a friend, advocate, documentarian, and professional to the most deserving couples on this planet. I lead with strong positive energy and professionalism to create a stress-free and fun wedding day for my couples.
My brand photography and content creation is strategic, curated, and content driven to give brands and businesses the most creative and engaging content to use for marketing, social media, website rebuilding, and more.
My Reason,
My reason for why I have pursued this career since 2017 can be summed up into one world: people.
I am so thankful to be able to connect with so many outstanding people in this industry. The stories that my subjects share with me mean the world to me, and I aim to hold space for people to be their fullest, most incredible selves when I work with them.
I am extremely thankful to be able to continue relationships with my subjects as well, which is the main reason I created mini session dates. I continue to celebrate people with where they are at in their journey with life, and I aim to continue the journey through long term relationships.
